The Session Q&A component provides a way for attendees to submit session-specific questions. Event managers use the component to collect and vet questions before answering them or passing them along to the presenter.
Session Q&A simplifies the collection and screening of questions from the audience, helping organizers ensure that presenters see the most relevant and interesting questions.
Using Session Q&A requires cooperation between the session presenter, event managers, and audience. A typical scenario: at the beginning of the session, the presenter explains that attendees should submit questions through the app. During the session, an event manager uses the App Manager to screen relevant questions, and then communicates selected questions to the presenter using email or a written note. The presenter can then answer as many questions as time permits.
Session Q&A requires the Schedule component to function. If you want to see which attendee submitted which question, you must also include the Attendees and Logon components.
