The Check-In component enables you to track which attendees have participated in a given session. Attendees check into the session using a session-specific alphanumeric code or by scanning a QR code, with a record of that check-in being saved in the App Manager.
The Check-In component improves attendance - if an individual knows you are monitoring their attendance, they are more likely to participate. The record of attendance generated can be useful to prove attendee participation for professional association credentials.
The Check-In component requires the Schedule, Attendees, and Logon components to function.
What happens in the app
Touching the Check-In icon in the main menu or session Details screen to open the Check-In screen. Attendees can enter a session-specific four-character alphanumeric code or scan a QR code to confirm their attendance.
- Features of Check-In:
- A list of currently checked into and previous check-in sessions.
- Check-ins may be restricted to a specific time period, which will also prohibit the ability to check into more than one session at a time.
- If configured, an attendee may add a note to their check in for review by the event manager.
- All check-in activities are synced back to the servers.
